During our family vacation at Hotel Lago di Braies, we were immediately captivated by its stunning lakeside location. The view from our room overlooked the turquoise waters, rich with the reflections of the surrounding mountains – a delightful panorama that made our stay memorable. Together, we explored the walking trail right outside the hotel, which offered a convenient access point for leisurely strolls as well as children-friendly activities. We took pleasure in rowing boats on the lake, making unforgettable memories against the backdrop of breathtaking scenery. The staff, including Monica and Massimo at reception, were particularly welcoming and helpful, ensuring that our family's needs were attended to with kindness. We also enjoyed the varied breakfast offerings, while the dinner menu featured some interesting mountain-style dishes, a nice deviation from traditional Italian fare. It is evident that the owners have invested in both honoring the local heritage and providing a family-friendly atmosphere. This combination truly creates an inviting base for exploring the enchanting landscapes of the Dolomites.
